Weekly Client Report
The go-to dashboard to monitor and generate regular campaign reports
PLEASE NOTE: This is no longer a template but you can easily create a custom dashboard to meet your needs!
The Weekly Client Report will be your go-to dashboard for regular reports to your clients or on your own campaigns, as well as to monitor campaigns.
You’ll use this dashboard to see campaign trends. It will inform you which campaigns have improved, which metrics have gone up or down, and whether your clients' accounts are moving in the right direction, or the wrong one.
You can use the trends in this dashboard to adjust your clients' campaigns and identify when it’s time to test, scale, or when it’s time to turn a campaign off.
- If your click thru rate (CTR) is down week over week, you should test your images or run an image vs. video test.
- If your conversion rate (CVR) is down, test the copy on your ad, or on your landing page.
- If your return on ad spend (ROAS) is down, you may have exhausted your remarketing audiences, or perhaps added too many new test audiences.
- If your CTR or CVR are up, your creative test is probably working and you should consider scaling your winning ad.
The top table gives you an overview of one specific metric over time. As with the chart on the Facebook Ad Audit Dashboard, you can customize how this table looks and what metrics it shows. You can choose from a long list of metrics, including:
- Ad spend
- Standard purchase events
- Lead events
- Link clicks
- And more…
This list pulls directly from Facebook, so you’ll see the names of your ad sets and any other specific metrics you have set up in the Facebook Ads account you’re looking at.
The table below the chart shows various campaign metrics. You can customize each of these metrics so you can see the numbers that matter most to you or your client. You can also color code each of them to make it easier to find what you’re looking for. Click on the gear icon to make changes to this table.
You can view trends in your data by:
- Weekly report
- Impression device
- Device platform (Android or iOS)
- Time of day
- Ad set
When you set up your campaigns, you can name them by funnel, and compare performance across funnels week by week. You can also monitor one particular funnel or certain metrics that you’re trying to improve.
Finally, you can take a screen shot of this dashboard and save it as a PDF. That way you can send a weekly report to a client, to a manager, or to business partners.
